Zack’s Drive-In closing, selling
Zack’s Drive-In, a popular hot dog stand on River Street in Queensbury, announced that it will not open this year, and a for sale sign with Hunt Real Estate is in the front parking lot.
“This has been a very difficult decision but we wanted to let everyone know we do not plan to open for the 2022 season at this time,” a post on their Facebook page says. “Thank you to all our loyal customers who stuck by us through the years. Keep an eye on our page for more announcements about the future of Zack’s Drive In!”
The statement had been shared nearly 400 times by mid-afternoon Thursday.
The restaurant has traditionally opened on April 1 every year, and has been in that location for decades.
FoothillsBusinessDaily.com reached out to Zack’s for comment, but had not heard back by press time.
