The Town of Bolton on Tuesday voted to allow the town attorney to pursue necessary legal action against Deborah Walsh of East Schroon River Road for operating a junkyard on her property. The town says this is not allowed under Town Ordinance #12. A notice of violation was sent to her from the Town’s Zoning Administrator, Richard Miller, in July. In the letter, Miller contends that her lot is too small and she did not receive the proper approval for a junkyard. The resolution approved on Tuesday allows the town’s attorney to litigate and proceed to court since the junkyard has not been cleared, officials said at the meeting.
