Upstate Agency hires Rebekah Crewell

Ms. Crewell, a designated Small Business Coverage Specialist (SBCS), is a seasoned insurance professional, bringing nearly 20 years of local insurance, risk management and marketing experience to her role.
Prior to joining Upstate Agency, LLC, Ms. Crewell spent her career with large global brokerage platforms and regional brokerage firms located in the Albany, N.Y. market. Ms. Crewell lives in Wells, N.Y. where she serves as Town Supervisor.
Tri-County United Way hires Laura Jensen

Ms. Jensen comes to Tri-County United Way with several years of marketing and communications leadership experience across the public health, private, and nonprofit sectors. Ms. Jensen began her career working at NBCUniversal, The Economist, and The Monday Campaigns (TMC) in New York, NY where she collaborated on numerous international marketing campaigns, media relations and facilitated high-impact communication campaigns. While at The Monday Campaigns, Ms. Jensen worked on the development of various international non-profit campaigns and initiatives including Meatless Monday, The Monday Mile, Caregiver Monday, and Kids Cook Monday with mentor Sid Lerner, benefactor of the Lerner Center for Public Health Promotion.
Previously Ms. Jensen was the Communications Manager at Food Bank of Central New York where she managed the execution of external and internal communications. The Food Bank of Central New York serves more than 22.5 million pounds of food yearly across 11 counties throughout central and northern New York as the main food distribution hub serving hundreds of partner agencies.
Ms. Jensen was a leading member of the organization’s COVID-19 response task team and helped to increase food security by providing more than 18.7 million meals to families, children, and elderly during the pandemic. While at the Food Bank, Ms. Jensen handled crisis communications, strategic planning, graphic design, photography, advertising & creative development, website & digital media management.
