Hilary Stec was sworn in to her seat on the Warren County Board of Supervisors, March 10, 2023. Stec, a Republican, fills the seat left open when Rachel Seeber, another Republican, stepped down in January. Seeber, the first woman chair in the board’s history, left to pursue an academic career.

The Queensbury Town Board appointed Stec to the county board after interviews conducted in February. Robin Larkin, Donald Stack, and Dave Strainer were also interviewed, according to a town agenda. Stec will have to run this fall if she hopes to hold the seat beyond Dec. 31. She has told people she plans to run. Stec is currently married to State Sen. Dan Stec, (R-45). They are divorcing.
Two Warren County Young Republicans are recognized by state party

Mr. Hall currently serves as the Republican Deputy Commissioner, Warren County Board of Elections.
Ms. McCarthy serves as the committee secretary for both the Warren County Republican Committee and the Queensbury Republican Committee.
She is currently seeking the Republican endorsement to run for Warren County Clerk.
