Open Door Mission announces new board members

Open Door Mission announces three new prominent board members that will strengthen the Mission’s strategic growth plan to support a growing need in Warren, Washington, and Northern Saratoga Counties.
New Board Members Include:
Dr. John Quaresima, Family Medicine Physician at Hudson Headwaters Health Network and Fort Hudson Health System.
David Liebetreu, Independent Consultant, Retired, Vice President & Chief Procurement Officer with International Paper.
Robert Silvestri, Vice President TD Bank/Commercial Banking.
Past board members, and all President Emeriti whose terms recently expired include Chris Hunsinger, Jeff Leland, Mary Gooden.
New board members will join Jeff Purner, Board Chair, National Account Manager, Medtronic, Pamela Cleveland, Treasurer, Senior Audit Manager, CMJ LLP, Andrea Palmer, Financial Consultant to lead the organization into its 30th Anniversary in 2021.
Wellspring names new Communications Director and two board members

Talia Cass
SARATOGA COUNTY, NY—Wellspring, the domestic violence and sexual assault services resource for Saratoga and Washington County residents, is excited to welcome Talia Cass to the organization as the new communications director. Cass comes to Wellspring with more than 6 years of experience in communications and marketing.
Cass will be responsible for disseminating the Wellspring brand, educating the public on the complexities of relationship and sexual abuse and promoting the many crucial services the organization provides survivors. Additionally, she will champion Wellspring’s community engagement effort, which includes facilitating educational programs with Saratoga county school-aged youth and adults.
Cass, a 2014 College of Saint Rose graduate, most recently served as an account strategist for Overit Media in Albany. Prior to Overit, she worked with multiple non-profit organizations including Discover Saratoga (also known as the Saratoga Convention and Tourism Bureau) and Proctors. Read more.

Cerri Banks
SARATOGA COUNTY, NY—Wellspring is excited to welcome Cerri Banks and Margaret Smith Cassier to their board of directors.
Cerri Banks is the dean of students and vice president for student affairs at Skidmore College. She received her Ph.D. in cultural foundations of education and a certificate of advanced women’s studies from Syracuse University. She specializes in sociology of education, cultural studies, multicultural education, and qualitative research.
Her book, Black Women Undergraduates Cultural Capital and College Success, documents the academic and social success of black women undergraduates as they negotiate dominant education and social discourses about their schooling lives.
Margaret Smith Cassier
Margaret Smith Cassier is the president and owner of Airosmith Development, Inc., a certified woman-owned-business founded in 2004 that specializes in site acquisition and engineering for commercial wireless providers, broadband companies, utility and government entities. In 2017, 2018, 2019 & 2020, Airosmith Development was awarded the designation as one of Inc 5000’s fastest growing companies in the United States.
Smith Cassier is a strong supporter of organizations that advocate for the advancement of women and children.
Wellspring’s executive board of directors consists of President Erica Fuller, Vice President Karen Sosler, Treasurer John Pecora and Secretary David Cumming. Additional board members include Jake Behuniak, Stephanie Collins, Andi Dolinsky, Giovanna D’Orazio, Dean Kolligian, Tom Meaney, Kevin Ronayne, Margaret Roohan and Linda Toohey.

Along with the new name is a completely redesigned logo and new website. SRA Engineers is the same company that has provided great service to its clients, delivering innovative and reliable civil and structural engineering solutions for more than the past 25 years throughout northern New York and New England. We just have a fresh new name and look.
