Leaders of the Saratoga County Board of Supervisors just announced plans to designate the Saratoga Springs City Center as a location for a local COVID-19 mass vaccination program. The county has an additional dozen "points of distribution" across the county that they will announce as vaccines become available.
Like other counties across New York State, there has been a very limited supply of vaccines provided to Saratoga County. The hope is that by creating a mass vaccination site that this will change.
To date, Saratoga County has been able to administer 9,600 vaccinations.
In just the last week, the number of active COVID-19 cases in Saratoga County has risen 26% to 3,384 cases as of yesterday. The number of hospitalizations has increased from 52 to 76. In terms of active cases, there are 490 in Clifton Park; 427 in Saratoga Springs; 369 in Halfmoon; 221 in Malta; and 203 in Wilton. Click here to review this data.
Mohawk Ambulance Service Announces Partnership with Albany County to Vaccinate Residents

ALBANY, NY — Mohawk Ambulance Service today joined with County Executive Daniel P. McCoy and Albany Mayor Kathy Sheehan to announce a new mobile vaccination vehicle being brought online in the coming weeks to bring COVID-19 vaccines to Albany County residents’ doorsteps. Once up and running, residents can contact Albany County to make an appointment. Residents should not contact Mohawk Ambulance directly to receive vaccination.
Mohawk Ambulance Service has also purchased medical grade freezers and additional temporary storage and transportation equipment that will allow for the storing of more than 110,000 Pfizer doses and 220,000 Moderna doses, as well as establishing pop-up vaccination sites throughout the Capital Region.
