LG Music Fest is on!
From a release: Sometimes referred to as the old "Towers Hall", the Carriage House at Fort William Henry will host, again, the Lake George Music Festival August 18-25.
The Music Festival has been working with the Fort to bring this historic structure back into the spotlight. Improvements to the building are underway including new flooring, restrooms, air-conditioning, and a professional concert sound and lighting system.
Popular as a venue years ago, its resurgence into the spotlight recently has been part of a broader effort to see Lake George become a cultural tourism destination, featuring this revitalized, year-round indoor performance space.
Don't miss this important, grand re-opening! As one of the nation's foremost classical music artist retreats, the Lake George Music Festival upholds a mission to advance music, re-imagine the concert experience, and build audiences for the 21st century through artistic integrity and innovation.
