Masseuse at Skin Renaissance Spa
Shelley Riopelle at Skin Renaissance Spa has added massages to the list of services at her location.
The spa focuses on skin care on Route 9 in South Glens Falls, but Riopelle said that the fit with Carrie Wright worked better than other masseuses that Riopelle had met and interviewed.
“I wasn’t going to do it at all. I was going to stay strictly skin care,” she said, but a discussion with Wright turned her head. "She's all about the medical, therapeutic side of it.”
Wright will complete Swedish, deep tissue, prenatal and 30-minute targeted massages.
“We’re excited,” Riopelle said.
The Spa Renaissance generally does not take walk-ins, so people looking for the skin care or the massage should call the Spa directly for times and hours, 518-741-6001.
Wright will be working as an independent contractor at the spa beginning Saturday March 12. She has about 18 years’ experience in Saratoga, the Sagamore Hotel and elsewhere.
StoredTech successfully completes year-long, independent, cyber-security audit
From a press release: The System Organization Control (SOC2) is a technical auditing process that technology companies engage to validate the systems and controls they design to secure their customer data. Approximately 60 internal controls were tested over a 9-month period by an external auditor. The overall process took the company a year to prepare. To comply with SOC2, organizations must establish rigorous security policies and procedures in accordance with the American Institute of CPAs standards. The independent auditors measure the availability, security, and integrity of an organization’s unique data processing systems, and ultimately determine whether effective safeguards and controls are in place. The successful completion of the SOC 2 Type 2 audit allows StoredTech to continue to strengthen their offering to the clients and deliver an enhanced solution to help their partners grow.
