Solar Liberty donates installation to Habitat for Humanity project
From a press release: Solar Liberty, a leading solar panel installation company, has donated a 4kW rooftop solar panel installation to a Habitat for Humanity home in Glens Falls.
The solar panel installation will help offset the energy costs, reducing the home's carbon footprint and providing energy savings for the homeowner.
“I am so excited! It is really going to help a lot. I just had a baby seven months ago, and this is going to help so much with monthly costs. I am very grateful that Solar Liberty donates to Habitat for Humanity to help folks like me!" said homeowner Aubrey Constantineau.
Adam Rizzo, the President of Solar Liberty, said he was happy to give back to the community. A portion of the proceeds from residential installations by Solar Liberty contribute to these philanthropic efforts.
“At Solar Liberty, we believe that solar energy is the future, and we are committed to making it accessible to everyone,” he said.
Adam Feldman, the Executive Director of Habitat for Humanity in Northern Saratoga, Warren, and Washington Counties noted the benefits of solar at the home: “Habitat for Humanity focuses on affordable housing, and the monthly costs can be a burden. So, when you can integrate renewable energy like solar that saves money, while benefiting the environment. It’s a win for everybody.”
