From a press release: Glens Falls National Bank and Trust Company is pleased to announce that Kristi Manning has been promoted to Regional Operations Manager for the Adirondack Region. In her new role, Ms. Manning will be responsible for overseeing and implementing operational procedures and controls for 14 offices located throughout Warren, Essex and Clinton counties with the goal of delivering a great customer experience.
She joined Glens Falls National Bank in 2003 as a Travelling Teller and most recently was Branch Manager of the Exit 18 office. Manning is involved in the community as treasurer of South Queensbury Volunteer Fire Company and Auxiliary and serves as co-captain for the Bank's Walk to End Alzheimer's team.
She grew up and lives in South Glens Falls.
Fenimore Asset Management: Marc Roberts Named Portfolio Manager of Fenimore Mutual Fund
From a press release: Fenimore Asset Management, an independent, Capital Region-based investment advisory firm and manager of the FAM Funds family of mutual funds, has named Marc Roberts as a Portfolio Manager of the FAM Value Fund. Established in 1987, the FAM Value Fund is one of three mutual funds that Fenimore manages and has $1.5 billion in assets under management as of Sept. 30, 2021. Roberts joined Fenimore in 2007 as an Investment Research Analyst and became a Portfolio Manager of the FAM Small Cap Fund in 2012. Roberts joins Chief Executive Officer John Fox and Portfolio Manager Drew Wilson in managing the FAM Value Fund. Fenimore’s Founder & Executive Chairman Tom Putnam has announced that he will transition away from his Portfolio Manager role in all three of the FAM Funds at the end of 2021 to concentrate fully on his role as Executive Chairman.
Arrow Financial Named to Piper Sandler Sm-All Star List for Financial Performance
From a press release: Arrow Financial Corporation is pleased to announce it was recently named to the Piper Sandler Sm-All Stars Class of 2021, a list of 35 top-performing small-cap banks and thrifts in the country.
Investment banking firm Piper Sandler Companies, evaluated 386 publicly traded banks and thrifts with a market cap below $2.5 billion based on eight metrics, including: growth, profitability, credit quality and capital strength. The field was then narrowed to the top 35. Arrow Financial Corporation is one of just five New York financial institutions on the list and the only one headquartered locally.
According to Piper Sandler: “The performance metrics of the institutions featured are outstanding,” with the Class of 2021 delivering “bottom-line results that are markedly better than the industry as a whole.”
