The Grist Mill in Warrensburg was gutted by fire early Sunday morning the Post-Star is reporting this morning. The two-story structure at the site of a historic mill will likely be razed and rebuilt, according to owner Ash Anand in the story. No cause was reported, but investigators are looking.
Dunkin' franchisees are supporting Toys for Tots, the annual program that gives toys to needy kids at Christmas time. According to a story in today's Saratogian, Toys for Tots bought $30,000 in toys at a capital region Walmart with donations from Dunkin' franchise owners. Dunkin' was formerly known as Dunkin' Donuts.

The public has until next Monday to comment on possible new regulations that cover where and how to place renewable energy plants--such as wind and solar fields--in the north country, the Adirondack Daily Enterprise reports this morning. The regulations stem from the Office of Renewable Siting, created this year to bolster New York State's renewable energy footprint. Public comment is open until Dec. 7.

Arrow Financial Corp. will give $75,000 to 20 area nonprofit organizations that have shown a commitment to helping others during the pandemic, the Post-Star is reporting. This is additional to the company's regular giving which totals $4 million over the past 10 years, the story says. Arrow owns Glens Falls Bank and Trust and Saratoga Bank and Trust companies.

Paul Tonko (his district includes Saratoga Springs): if you shop online, do so locally. Many local companies provide online shopping experiences.
