Saratoga Springs’ healthcare marketing firm Fingerpaint partnered with Leaderboard Branding of North Carolina, the Albany Business Journal is reporting. According to the story, Leaderboard works with pharmaceutical companies when they are first developing a drug. Fingerpaint expects to earn more than $100 million this year.

The owner of Fort Christopher's Thoroughbreds in Ft. Edward is expanding his portfolio into a restaurant and marina in Ft. Pierce, Fla., the Abany Business Journal is reporting. Christopher Shelli, through his business Shelli Associates, won a bid on the Atlantic Coast to build what he calls a destination space, with shopping and restaurants, on 4.5 acres in one of the smaller coastal cities.

Washington County took the first step to eliminate a liquor law that prevents people from buying alcohol on Good Friday from noon until 3 p.m., the Post-Star is reporting. County officials said in the story they do not know how long the law has been on the books. A committee has approved the removal of the law, but it must go before the State Liquor Authority and the County Board for full approval, the story says.

A Capital Region photographer wants to show women their own beauty through sensual photos, empowering the women, not their husbands and boyfriends, a story in the Times-Union says. Lindsay D’Ottavio shoots “boudoir” photos, traditionally the sensual or sexy photo a woman would take in lingerie and share with a significant other. The story says that D’Ottavio, owner of Self Love Experience, wants women to see the beauty in themselves with the pictures.
