Boats-by-George’s planned move from Route 149 in Queensbury to “The Forum” building on Route 9 in Lake George got a boost from the Lake George Industrial Development Agency yesterday, the Post-Star is reporting. Moxxi Coffee, with wholesale distribution to at least one store in Saratoga Springs, plans to break ground Monday on a new building in Stillwater. The small building will be headquarters to the company and a related foundation, a story in the Albany Business Journal says.
Business man Dane Morton in Lake Luzerne, owner of Adirondack Adventure Center, has bought the Harris Grocery store in the town. The building is closed for extensive renovations, the Chronicle reported in yesterday’s edition (see page 1). The store will include fresh baked goods and specialty sandwiches, the story says.

The Albany area chamber of commerce is looking to help businesses through the pandemic and work toward racial equity while looking toward a stronger economy, President Mark Eagan says in an interview with the Albany Business Journal. His ideas are many, but include working with the state to procure more federal funds and workforce development and training to provide access to better jobs for all.
