The town’s engineering report on the project has some trouble with stormwater runoff, but it does not appear to be trouble enough to end the project completely, the story says.

Also in the ABJ, Fingerpaint, the Capital Region’s largest marketing firm, has joined with Knox Lane to buy other companies, the Albany Business Journal is reporting. The cooperation, the way it is laid out in the story, sounds more like a merger, with Knox Lane, a San Francisco investment group, becoming part of Fingerpaint’s board, while founder Ed Mitzen remains on to run the company.

The Lake Champlain ferry from Essex to Charlotte will close on Jan 4. Traffic is way down due to the coronavirus pandemic, a story in the Adirondack Sun said earlier this week. The Plattsburgh to Grand Isle line will remain open, the story says.

Camp Santanoni in Newcomb will not hold its winter gatherings January through March the Adirondack Explorer is reporting. For participants, that means no five mile trek through wilderness to share hot cocoa with others at the Adirondack Great Camp as the organizers fear community spread of the coronavirus, the story says.
