SUNY Adk. 5K Color Run
SUNY Adirondack brightens up the weekend with a Color Run 5K Run/Walk on the college’s main campus Saturday.
The public is invited to join in the fun day of fitness that celebrates diversity.
Sponsored by Student Senate, the event — in which walkers and runners wear white and are splashed with color throughout the course — raises money for SUNY Adirondack’s Community Hub, an on-campus resource that helps identify and meet the non-academic needs of students.
“The Color Run is always a good time and benefits a great cause,” said Taylor Testa, director of Student Engagement & Diversity. “The event brings together the broader community and many campus groups — Senate, The Hub, LGBTQIA — to celebrate our differences and what unites us. And, really, it’s just a lot of fun.”
Register in advance at https://runsignup.com/Race/NY/Queensbury/SUNYAdirondack5kColorRun. The run kicks off at 10 a.m.; participants are asked to arrive early to sign in and receive their bibs.
