MLK Saratoga's annual Dr. King Celebration Weekend offers a range of programming illuminating, amplifying, and reflecting on social, racial, and economic justice issues. Workshops, performances, lecture and panel discussions will engage community participants on many levels. This year’s theme explores and responds to Dr. King’s reflection, “Songs are the soul of a movement.”
Saturday (1/14), 10:30 am How the Negro Got His Song join storyteller Jae Gayle for this family-friendly interactive performance and workshop based on an African-American folktale.
