GLENS FALLS, NY — The Glens Falls Collaborative has announced a Halloween House Contest for the month of October.
The Collaborative wants to find out who has the spookiest decorations in Glens Falls! City residents are invited to decorate their homes for the Halloween season. Friends and neighbors will then vote for their favorite display at the Glens Falls Collaborative website, glensfallscollaborative.com.
The competition is limited to houses in Glens Falls only. The Collaborative asks the displays be PG-13. Judging will only include the portion of your yard or house that is visible from the driveway or street. This is a socially distanced event.
The display and voting period will be from October 1st through midnight on October 29th. The winner will be announced on Facebook Live on the Downtown Glens Falls Page and in-person at Boo2You in the bandstand at 3:50 p.m. on October 30th, and contacted immediately after.
Nancy Turner, Secretary for the Glens Falls Collaborative, says, “This was such a hit with families last year that we decided to do it again.” Boo2You is set for Saturday, October 30, from 2 to 4 p.m. Additional details are forthcoming.
