The Ballston Spa Rotary Club together with the Ballston Spa High School Interact Club will hold a Brooks chicken barbecue fundraiser from 3 p.m. to 6 p.m. on Thursday, March 2, at the VFW Post 358, 68 East North St. The theme will be “Think Spring!”
The takeout-only event will feature barbecue prepared on-site by the famed Brooks’ House of Bar-B-Q of Oneonta. Each meal will include a half-chicken, baked potato, coleslaw, and roll.
The cost will be $15 per dinner. Tickets are available online at http://ballstonsparotary.com/bbq.
Part of the proceeds will benefit Scottie’s Pantry at the high school, which provides food, toiletries, and other items to students in need.
